发明名称 OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the transmission of large capacity information by using an optical transmission means having a specific wavelength scattering characteristic so as to apply isolated pulse communication while operating a luminous light source continuously. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmission means provided with a prescribed wavelength scattering characteristic is employed. That is, a prescribed wavelength scattering characteristic is provided in a way that a delay time when the light of a wavelength lambda0 is transmitted is decreased by DELTAT more than that when a light of a wavelength lambda1 is transmitted and a delay time when the light of a wavelength lambda2 is transmitted is increased by DELTAT more than that when a light of a wavelength lambda0 is transmitted. Thus, when the light whose wavelengths are lambda0, lambda1, lambda2 are sequentially incident in the optical transmission means, the wavelength lambda1 is led by DELTAT apparently and the wavelength lambda2 is retarded by DELTAT, then the light whose wavelengths are lambda0, lambda1, lambda2 are observed overlappingly in the same timing at an output terminal of the optical transmission means and the independent pulse light with a magnitude resulting from synthesizing 3 optical energy sets is observed. Thus, the isolated pulse communication is implemented while operating the light source continuously and the system suitable for the transmission of large capacity is obtained.
