<p>Disclosure envisages the "possibility" (sic) of varicoloured gramophone record discs, using coloured plastics, and representation of black-and-white or coloured pictures, drawings and indicia, on that portion of the disc carryin the sound-recording groove. this is claimed to be achieved by producing that grooved portion from vari-coloured plastics. The display of information useful to a user of a gramophone record, or aesthetically pleasing decoration or publicity is now not confined to the ungrooved, non-playing portion of the record but may extend over practically the entire surface of the same. The grooved portion of the record serves as carrier of black-and-white or coloured pictures etc.</p> |
