Pivot mechanism for agricultural rotary plough - consists of valved container exchanging air between outside and cylinder-piston unit

The pivot-mechanism consists of a plough body (1) on which is mounted a chassis pivoting to two different operating positions on a pivot axle (2). A cylinder-piston unit (9) is fixed by means of a bearing (10) and bolt (11) to the plough body (1). The piston rods (8) are joined to the rotary drive-unit (31) of the pivot axle (2). The plough body (1) has a transverse beam (6) and, at the top, an upper link attachment (5). The transverse beam (6) acts as a container for liq, such as pressure-oil (15). Compressed air (20) is contained in the top of the container. The oil (15) is connected to the cylinder via a tube (18) and pipe (24). The pipe (25) forms a connection to the control-mechanism of the tractor's hydraulic system.
