Mfr. of laminate comprises combining the plies in at least partly plasticised state, with application of press. by means of calendering rollers, where a thermoplastics film to be coated with a plasticised coating, cpd., using a feed roller and feeding same to a feed roller nip. The linear combining press. exerted by the feed roller nip is immediately followed by a surface press. The resulting laminate is free from voids and bubbles. The bonding of the several plies is homogeneous and uniform.
