HYDROXYLAMINE DISSOLVED IN AN ALCOHOL/WATER/ALKALI METAL SULFATE SLURRY WHEREIN THE WATER CONTENT OF THE SLURRY IS INSUFFICIENT TO HYDROLYZE THE ESTER DURING CONVERSION TO NAPHTHENOHYDROXAMIC ACID, AND C. AN ALKALI METAL HYDROXIDE DISSOLVED IN ALCOHOL. |
