Automatic tracking radar system - has device for at least partial compensation of errors caused by mirror effects using local oscillators

The radar transmitter uses f.m. signals. The radar system includes a control unit (St) which controls transmission frequencies of the transmitter (S) and of local oscillators (OZ) during negligibly short time intervals. The system operates in such a way that abrupt changes in the transmitted frequency are greater than or nearly equal to a deviation from the centre frequency, and the results are automatically calculated in the radar station from a specified formula.
