<p>This air cleaner dirt catcher assembly consists of a housing in which is set, at intervals in the air stream between inlet opening and outlet, two mesh grids and a filter. The mesh grids each have different sized mesh. The filter consists of a filter paper held between two mesh frames of different mesh sizes which are hinged together. The grids and the filter slide into grooves in the housing and can be removed for cleaning. In a further groove in the housing is a frame which is strengthened by stiffener ribs. This frame holds a dirt catcher sack. Integrated into the housing is a storage space for spare filter papers and/or storage sacks.</p> |
