<p>The converters are used to measure small air vol. difference displacements and convert them into electrical signals, especially for warning systems which react to pressure. A small storke at only a few micrometers, is converted into a usable electrical signal. By suitable choice of sensor tubes, large situations can be monitored and displayed by a suitable selection logic. A light source sends it light through the light tubes, all-shaped tube and light tubes to the base of the photo-transistor. When there is a vol. shift the light-darkening medium in the tubes is shifted so that the light falls fully on the transistor base and a larger current flows in the emitter circuit. A further photo tube can be used, so that volume shifts effect an interruption in the photo-current.</p> |
