<p>The illumination device of the optical sender or amplifier for a laser consists of a concave mirro and an excitation light source in the form of an array of emission diodes. The emission spectrum lies in the absorption zone of the solid state medium spectrum. The concave mirror is in the form of a cylindrical parabolic mirror (Po) with the rod-shaped solid state medium (Ls) in its focal line (F). The mirror aperture is covered by a matching, two dimensional emission diode array (Da). The radiation aperture angle gamme of the emission diodes and the cross-section of the solid state medium are matched to each other.</p> |
