Aircraft with reciprocating wings - with interlocked pairs of wings with energy transfer between thm and human pedal power drive

The light aircraft has at least two sets of wings (2, 3, 22, 23) which are flapped up and down by a linkage to the driving force. The pairs of wings are interlocked by cable drives in such a way that when one pair is on the upstroke the other is on the downstroke. The stored energy of the wings on the upstroke is then used for the power stroke of the other pair. The system improves the efficiency of the drive mechanism, especially for man powered flight. It enables stored energy to be abstracted from air turbulence.
