Shield for spectacles against sunlight - is shaped plastics sheet hinged on bar attached to top of spectacle frame

A shield against excessively bright light from above for spectacles has a bar parallel to and clamped onto the top edge of the spectacle frame. The bar has a spindle to which a dark-toned plastics sheet is attached in such a way that it can be moved into different positions. The free lower edge of the plastics sheet is shaped in the same way as the lower part of the spectacles and has a cut-out portion where it fits over the nose of the wearer. The shield is esp. useful for cyclists, etc. as an alternative to having to shade their eyes with one hand.
