1501837 Impact pulverizers CHARBONNAGES DE FRANCE 23 March 1976 [24 March 1975] 11686/76 Heading B2A [Also in Division F4] A fluidized bed grinding apparatus comprises a fluid-tight fluidization vessel 10 of substantially constant rectangular section, with a rotary percussion grinder 11 having a horizontal axis arranged in the bottom part of the vessel. A constant gas flow in the vessel by a vertical pipe 30 comprising two parts one of which is a convergent-divergent portion 32. A fluid-tight feed means 41 leads into the vertical pipe between the convergentdivergent portion 32 and the base of the fluidization vesel 10. Ground material is discharged via a rising pipe 15 connected to the upper part of the vessel. A fluid-tight pipe recycles to the feed means for material to be treated, rejected material from a screen 51 which comprises a sieve or sieves 52. Cyclones 13 separate out the hot flue gases. Product material passing the screen 52 is fed to a screw 60 and thence to a truck or coke oven charging apparatus. Superfine material separated by a second sieve may be used in the production of the combustion gas. The temperature of the fluidized bed ;s controlled by temperature detectors controlling thermostats regulating the combustion temperature. |
