The body 14 comprises mixture of a silicone resin, catalyst and silver-coated copper spheres and, during making of the connector, is placed in an uncured state in the socket 11, is then compressed and shaped by a moulding tool 18, excess material 24 escaping through an opening (13) in the socket, and is then cured in situ. Guide ribs (26), are clinched about a mandrel (25) in the socket between its open end and the body 14. |
