1534915 Supporting inserts in moulds ETABLISSEMENTS LAGESSE & NEYMARC 24 Feb 1976 [11 July 1975] 07271/76 Heading B5A A hollow beam or female member 1 (Fig. 3) or 1a (Fig. 6) to be embedded in concrete is held against a mould wall 6 by a horse-shoe pin 9/9a having wavy limbs 10/10a and 11/11a defining bends 15/15a and 16/16a that engage in apertures 12 in the mould wall. The pins engage the wall 6 by the apertures 15/15a while the beam or member 1/1a is slid into place and are then placed in the Fig. 3 or 6 position for clamping. After moulding, the projecting limbs are broken off at dimples 17/17a, or are removed by pincers . The pins comprise spring steel or moulded plastics. The member 1 (Fig. 3) includes a hollow 5 opened to the face of the embedding concrete member by removal of an extruded PVC or adhesive aluminium foil cover plate 7. In Fig. 6, a bar 70 covers an opening 4, and is removably held in place by elastic flanges 71. |
