PURPOSE:To make height control over a body ever so easy, by clamping a stationary plate, having a concave part, to the inner surface of an outer pipe, and constituting an inner pipe with a guide plate to be inscribed with the outer pipe and a ball to be engaged with the concave part. CONSTITUTION:An inner pipe 3 is inserted into an outer pipe 6, and a stationary plate 8 installing a concave part 7 in an inner surface of the outer pipe 6 is clamped to the inner pipe. The ball 5 inset in a hole 1 of a guide plate 2 is energized outward by a spring 4. When the inner pipe 3 is moved up and down by hand and adjusted to some extent, the ball 5 is engaged with either of concave parts 7, thus a body can be set to optional height.
