<p>PURPOSE: To increase storage spaces, by forming vertical walls so as to be castellated in shape, by symmetrically disposing each adjacent two walls, right and left, and by forming the storage spaces for cassettes or the like so that they alternate with each other vertically. CONSTITUTION: The base unit of a rack has an odd number of castellated vertical walls 1-5. The vertical walls 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, and 5 are symmetrical to each other, each adjacent two vertical walls, right and left. The vertical walls 1, 2, 3, and 4 vertically define with their opposite U-shaped portions first-, third-, and fifth-unit storage spaces, and, similarly, the vertical walls 2, 3, 4, and 5 vertically define with their opposite U-shaped portions second-, fourth-, and sixth-unit storage spaces. A cassette 6 is stored in the storage space of the unit which is the fifth from a top between the vertical walls 2 and 3, and a cassette 7 is stored in the storage space of the unit which is the fourth from a top between the vertical walls 2 and 3. This makes it possible to obtain a rack in which the storage spaces which vertically alternates with each other are arranged laterally and which is convenient to store cassettes or the like neatly.</p> |
