PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of online processing and offline processing by providing regions for optically and readably recording information to manage recording media separately from data recording regions. CONSTITUTION:The data recording regions 4 and management information recording regions 5 are divided to several tracks and are provided between ID parts 3A and 3B. The management information recording regions 5 are divided in a prerecording par 6 and are provided with the plural recording parts 7. The management information of cards are successively recorded to the recording parts 7. In for example, prepaid card system, the balance is known by reading the data of the final writing address recorded in the recording part 7 of the management information recording region 5 out of the recording region 4 and the address is updated. The result of the transaction of this time is recorded in the data recording region 4. The address thereof is recorded in the ensuing recording part 7 of the recording region 5. The efficient processing is thereby executed. |
