<p>The invention relates to a fastener device for suitcases, bags or the like, having a fastener element which is arranged on one half of the suitcase, can be controlled by means of an actuating handle and interacts with a counter-fastening member on the other half of the suitcase. For satisfactory fastening, it is proposed that, during the fastening operation, the fastener element (46) assumes a position of readiness for fastening, engaging behind the counter-fastening member (13'), from an open position due to displacement taking place under the effect of gravity and/or forced guiding (70), from which position of readiness for fastening the fastener element (46) moves into the fastened position along a path of retraction movement whilst carrying along the counter-fastening member (13'). <IMAGE></p> |
