<p>The transit vehicle comprises an elongated, self-supporting structure for transporting passengers therein, a plurality of individual spaced pylons supporting the vehicle in spaced relation and each pylon having a power driven movable transit vehicle contacting drive means thereon for engaging and driving the transit vehicle as it enters same, each pylon being supported on the ground and having the drive means elevated therefrom whereby the vehicle is supported above the ground for movement there-across.</p> |
