The cable plug (1) is insertable and connectable similarly to the flat assembly units. It has a supporting part with insertion guides to which the cable is directly or indirectly connected through at least one cable clamp, a protective case and a plug board. The cable plug (1) has a through free wiring space between the cable end and the plug board (2), enclosed only by the protective case. Cable (6) wires (16) are placed in this space and directly connected to the plug board terminals. The edge guide strips (7) are united with the plug board (2). The cable terminal (5) provided with a pressure block (20) which holds it in the clamping clips.
