The set of structural components for a fixed window frame assembled from horizontal and vertical shaped bars, is of adjustable dimensions to save the cost and time involved of obtaining a special frame for local needs. Each of the horizontal bars is fitted with a predetermined number of plug-accommodating points distributed at intervals lengthways, in the area where the appropriate vertical bars are to be attached to it. Each of the vertical bars has corresponding plug pins protruding from its ends faces. The plug accommodating places may be in the form of blind holes, while the plugs are of the dowel type. The holes may pass right through, with one plug being a threaded bar and the other a dowel reaching into the hole.
