<p>The needle conveyor band has a number of lattices positioned transverse to the direction of movement of the endless rotating conveyor band, which carries a large number of needles projecting into the conveyor plane. The needles consist of a fibre reinforced plastic or may be made from fibre glass, carbon fibres or similarly reinforced polyamide. The needles (5) are made of a non-circular cross section. The shaft (7) of the needles (5) which fits into the latticed section (1) has cross grooves, bulge projections or groove recesses to retain it in place. The conveyor band is used in textile machinery to handle flock materials.</p> |
