<p>Coin tester separation of unwanted coins and counterfeit money uses one or more coin passage channels with magnet. Coins made of different materials pass the magnet and are decelerated at a different rate by the effect of the magnetic field. On leaving the coin passage channel the coins follow different dropping curves. The acceptable coins drop into an acceptance channel, and the unwanted coins as well as counterfeit money drop into a separation channel. An electromagnet (2) is used for testing the alloy. In the mode without current all the coins and counterfeit money drop into the separation channel (8).</p> |
