<p>The securing mechanism on the roller shutter is provided so that the shutter can be protected on the inside against raising from the outside, whatever position it is in, and regardless of the position of the window wing. It can be operated from the interior by an elastic or nylon activating cord, led through the blind frame or window frame. The handle serves as a counterweight at the same time. There is pref. an adjustable securing pin which automatically brings the adjustable support screw into play as a second securing pin, when it is loaded. The latter then prevents any over-riding of the main securing pin - which may have a thread along its length.</p> |
