<p>The support arrangement prevents landslides, and erosion and it is used on slopes not covered with vegetation. The ground to be protected is held by vertical posts with zig zag patterned, plastics straps. The stability of the flat horizontal straps is improved by additional diagonal straps. This ensure high load carrying capacity and plant roots can grow in the gaps between the straps. The parallel straps (2) stretched between the support posts are connected with diagonal adhesive straps (2). Adhesive straps are wound in helical pattern around fencing formed from parallel straps. The adhesive surfaces exposed at gaps between parallel straps are rendered inactive by covering with fine particles, especially with grass seed. Parallel straps are held in slots in posts.</p> |
