Roof ridge or coping stone fixture - uses closed loop plastic cable tension element for each stone

The device is used for fixture of coping or ridge stones on a roof structure, comprising a flexible tension element which engages both the stone and the roof structure. There is one tension element (1) for each coping or ridge stone (3), and this is in the form of a closed loop. It may be produced as a double loop, with each part fastened to a point in the roof structure on one side of the coping or ridge line. It may be led through two or more eyes (2, 4) fitted on the underside of the coping or ridge stone. One eye at least passes through the stone from top to bottom. The tension element may consist of a non-rotting elastic plastic cable. Its ends can be joined together by a knot, or by clamping, cementing, welding, or interweaving.
