<p>An animal stall which can be adapted for cows or pigs, has equidistant posts (1) which have hinged (4) to them, on one side, a longer partition (2), and on the other side, a shorter partition (3). All the longer partitions (2) are hinged (4) to one wall (5). All the shorter partitions are hinged (4) to another common wall (6). By swivelling the partitions (2, 3) through an angle of ninety degrees, the position and size of the pens can be altered. The longer partitions (2) have feeding troughs and hay racks (8), the length of which is shorter than the distance between two posts (1). The troughs have bars (9) on them which pivot on a hinge. When not in use, the bars (9) hook onto hooks, and are let down by cable, during milking to separate the cows. Drinking troughs (18) can be fixed to the posts.</p> |
