The liquid fuel atomiser for gas turbines has a cylindrical axial air supply pipe (12) ending in a swirler (17). Around this pipe is an annular passage (13) between a second length of pipe (11), co-axial with the first and welded to it at both ends, sealing the ends. - Fuel enters this passage at the back and leaves it by flowing inwards through radial holes (19) into the air supply pipe. The number of holes equals the number of swirler blades (18) and they enter the air supply pipe between the blades. The holes slope in the direction of flow, and slope radially in the opposite direction to the swirler blades.
