The electric current control circuit is for a device which produced a reversible polarising magnetic flux used for saturating or desaturating lifting magnets. It has switch, a transformer, and a relay with contacts for magnetising and contacts for demagnetising. It also has two banks of capacitors for magnetising and demagnetising. The circuit for magnetising consists of the relay contacts, a protection resistor, a bridge rectifier, fuses and the capacitor. The circuit for demagnetising consists of the relay contacts, a power regulator controlled by a resistor adjustable release circuit, a protection resistor and fuses. The release of energy from the capacitors is by using a thyristor and a release circuit with contacts controlled by the relay contacts. |
