<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a desired thickness of a coating material by forming a transfer roller as a hollow perforating roller for enclosing a doctor member, regulating a pressing force to a wall of a roller bore of the member, and supplying the material, to its surface. CONSTITUTION: A tufted carpeting cloth 1 is fed to a nip between a lower rotary support roller 2 and an upper rotary perforated roller 3. A foam latex material is supplied from a supply tank 5 by a reciprocating motion to coat the cloth 1 via a storage holding plate 7, part of the material is internally fed via holes of the roller 3, and a latex material storage 6 is formed at a front side of a doctor blade 4. And, a pressing force of the blade 4 to an inner periphery of the roll 3 is regulated to adjust a thickness of the material given to the cloth 1. Thus, pre-coat of preferable thickness/density can be conducted with good reliability.</p> |
