<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the packet dissipation and the packet delay due to the collision of a packet in a network switch by providing a switch supervising memory to store the use condition of respective switch elements to constitute a routing network switch. CONSTITUTION:When a packet is inputted from an input line 7a, a corresponding switch input control part 4a latches the destination information to a destination information detecting part, and sends the bit information to a switch supervising memory competition setting part 6 together with input line information 9 and a memory control signal 12 as destination information 10. After the setting part 6 execute the competition adjustment, the part transmits it to a switch supervising memory 5. Here, information 9 and 10 are inputted to the decoder in the internal part of a switch element supervising memory at every step of a routing network switch 1. When a switch using request is executed from a control part 4a, the corresponding signal 12 is inputted to a memory control part, and collision information 11 to show the using condition of a switch element 2 is transmitted via the setting part 6 to a control part 4a.</p> |
