PURPOSE:To efficiently perform an intricate tire molding by changing only a part of the piled-up shape of flat plate members by a structure wherein the molding surface of a part, which produces a tire tread, is constituted by piling up a large number of flat plate members. CONSTITUTION:Profiling surfaces 8 for producing a tire tread are assembled by piling up a large number of flat plate members 7 in the width direction of the tire tread. Since the air between the profiling surfaces 8 and a green tire T is passed through fine plate surface clearances of the flat plate members 7, 7... constituting the profiling surfaces 8 and air discharging holes 6 so as to be discharged evenly over the whole periphery, resulting in producing a tire have clear continuous striped pattern. The correction of a mold and the change of the shape of the mold can be easily and quickly done only by exchanging a part of the flat plate members 7. |
