<p>PURPOSE:To prevent photosensitive paper from being misfed by putting a tray elevating means in operation unless the paper feed start signal of a document insertion sensor is outputted and a paper surface detecting means detects specific height of sheets. CONSTITUTION:A tray is elevated by constant height by putting the tray elevating means 15 in operation unless the paper feed start signal of the document insertion sensor 20 is outputted and the paper surface detecting means 15 detect the specific height of sheets. Further, when a paper feed roller 9 rotates to perform paper feeding operation, the operation of the paper surface detecting means 15 is stopped and the tray elevating means 10 is not operated. Consequently, the excessive abutting between a sheet and the paper feed roller 9 can be evaded to eliminate the misfeeding of a sheet and the breakage of a mechanism.</p> |
