PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in the balance of nutrition and useful for prevention and remedy of diabetes, hypertension, etc., by blending specified amounts of proteins, hydrocarbons and lipids in a solution so that a specified amount of calorie may be contained in the solution. CONSTITUTION:In 100ml solution, 3.5-7g proteins containing 30-50wt.% material (e.g. water-soluble gelatin) decomposed by protease and having 800-30000 molecular weight, 5-17g hydrocarbon containing 50-100wt.% 3-6 oligosaccharide (e.g. maltotetraose), 1-5g lipid (e.g. rice lipid) and, as necessary, various vitamins, minerals are blended and the resultant mixture is emulsified to obtain the objective composition having <=7cp viscosity at 20 deg.C and 70-130kcal/100ml total calorie. |
