Device for hygienic extraction of blood without risk of traumatism comprises means incorporated in the extraction tube allowing collection of the blood by controlled suction. Pref. the means for creating reduced pressure of a partial vacuum is obtained by progressive withdrawal of the tube, which allows flow of blood to be controlled. DETAILS The device comprises a tube (1) in which is disposed anticoagulant (2), and a piston (3) through the centre of which extends over its whole length a passage (4) which receives a needle (5) at its end. The piston, which is longer than the tube, is introduced into the tube as far as the bottom, causing all the anticoagulant to amass in the bottom of the tube. After fitting the needle and introducing it into the vein, the piston end is held between thumb and index finger and the tube is pulled gently to create in the tube partial pressure which can be controlled. |
