<p>Antibiotics BM 123 alpha, 123 beta1, 123 gamma1 and 123 gamma2 of formulae (I) and (IIa)-(IIc), respectively, and their acid-addn. salts, are new: (where X is: The cpds. are antibacterials with a broad spectrum of activity, e.g., with high activity in mice against Proteus mirabilis, Kl. pneumoniae and E. coli strains. Antibiotics (I) and (II) were obtd. by cultivation of Nocardia sp. NRRL 5646 .</p> |
