The holding clamp is for a detachable picture frame which consists of a frame with an 'L' shaped cross section into which a picture with a glass pane and/or rear wall backing is inserted. An intermediate space extends all round between the picture unit and the frame. The flexible clamp fits into this space and has three attachment points. The first attachment point (61) fits against the rear of the picture unit (55), and the second attachment point (62) fits into an inner groove (50) of the frame (5). The third attachment point (63) fits into the space (4) between the picture unit and the frame. The grip section (61) is made from flat spring band.
