The high-voltage switching installation has a plurality of switch panels, each having a power circuit breaker, interrupter circuit breaker and earthing circuit breaker, and at least one common busbar. In order to arrange the busbars themselves, as well as the electrical installation components located between the busbars and the power circuit breaker and after the latter, such that the encapsulated phase conductors, which produce the connection between these components, necessitate the minimum installation complexity, the respective power circuit breaker (1) is arranged in the longitudinal part (2) of a T-shaped capsule (3). A busbar (5) can be flanged onto the capsule (3) at its one end, via at least one end face of its lateral part (4). The other end face of the lateral part (4) can be connected to a flange, or a further busbar (13) or other installation components can be connected thereto. The power circuit breaker (1) is connected via an interrupter (6) to the busbar (5), the power circuit breaker drive (7) is arranged on the end face at the other end of the longitudinal part (2) of the T-shaped capsule (3), and encapsulated converters (8, 9), an interrupter (10) and an earthing circuit breaker (11) with a cable outlet (12) can be flanged on underneath, emerging at right angles. <IMAGE>
