Cleaning aid for rotating knife - using a fibre material strip wound into a firm roll which may be cut into slices

Aid for the mechanical cleaning of knife blades especially rotating blades used for cutting e.g. bread, sausage etc. consists of an absorbing fibrous cellular material. The fibre material strip is wound into firm roll (1) which can be cut into slices across the front surface. The fibre material strip has a smooth structure on either side and the outer end of the strip is firmly glued to the circumference of the roll. The strength of the fibre material strip varies between 0.04 to 0.2 mm, but is pref 0.06 mm, and the diameter of the roll corresponds roughly to the radius of the rotating knife to be cleaned less the radius of the knife hub.
