<p>The support is a metal strip having a central notch in its upper edge and a cutout in its lower edge. The strip is bent transversely at right angles and in opposite planes, a distance each side of cutout and notch to form sides and feet. A crenellated circular hole (18) is in each side and each foot has two points for driving into the wood of the frame. For wall hanging, a picture hook is used, locating in the cutout. For standing, a stand is required, this being a shaped wire loop with inturned ends to fit in the crenellated holes.</p> |
