A display stand for e.g. a shop counter and using hooks to display merchandise, has a thin sheet with only one press or stamping operation. The slots (11) in the sheet (10) and the supports (12) for the hooks (18) are so dimensioned that one of the two bends (14,ule has a width equal to the width of the recess. The length (C) of the upper tongue is greater than the height of the recess and the length of the middle part (13) of the lower tongue (17) is smaller than the clearance of the upper edge of the upper tongue (15) from the lower edge of the tongue (17). The middle part (12) has a threaded hole for fitting a fixing screw (19). The lower tongue (17) forms an acute angle with the plane of the middle part (13). |
