Dyeing natural and synthetic polyamides pure blue shades - using anthraquinone dyes to give level, light-fast colorations

The dyeing and printing of natural or synthetic polyamide material is effected with a dyestuff of formula (I): (where R= sec. alkyl or cycloalkyl; one Y1=H and the other is a sulpho gp). Highly pure blue shades are obtd. with (I) alone or mixtures of (I), having good uniformity and light-fastness.
