<p>The roof of the caravan is fitted with a rigid, plasti moulded hull (2) clipped to the side of the roof by hinges (4). The hull is joined to the roof by flexible material and struts, so that in the raised position it forms increased headroom inside the vehicle. This provides extra sleeping accommodation and storage for sails and other gear for the boat. The boat is unclipped and slid off the rear end of the roof using a hinged slide. In the fitted position the hull forms a streamlined extension for the vehicle. Alternatively a hinged guide can be fixed to the roof at one vehicle end to allow unloading in a longitudinal direction.</p> |
