<p>Holder includes an annular space around an impact bar in which ambient air enters radially inwards. The annulus is subdivided by filters through which the tobacco smoke has to pass. The condensate from the tobacco smoke is deposited on the surfaces of the impact bar and the holder is thrown away after three cigarettes have been smoked. Very pleasant cool smoke results with little suction resistance. The tobacco tastes milder and the filter can be varied by varying the number and size of holes. Toxic components such as tar and 3,4-benzpyrene are removed from the smoke and the holder is cheap to produce.</p> |
