This is a miniature relay with a relatively large air-gap. The armature has a central part (36) with radial arms (37) projecting from it. Pole surfaces of each core (29) are allocated to the two pairs of arms (37). The base plate (10) and the end frames (25) may be made of thermoplastic. The relay uses very little power.
