<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the work efficiency by providing an infrared scanner for scanning a detecting area, and one or more video camera for scanning the detecting area. CONSTITUTION: An infrared thermography system 10 comprises an infrared(IR) scanner 12 and a video camera 14 carried on a supporting boom 20 fixed to a vehicle (mobile) 22 by means of an oblique support rod 20d. The supporting boom 20 is secured firmly to the vehicle 22. The IR scanner 12 and the video camera 14 are set to move in the horizontal and vertical directions using a remote control means 17 and a joy stick 17a being controlled by an operator 28. Preferably, another video camera is mounted so that the image of the detecting area can be picked up in the field of view of a driver 26.</p> |
