R 1 is C 8-22 alkylene when X is O, NH, CONH or COO, C 10-18 alkylene if X is SO @ NH or C 8-18 alkylene when X is phenyleneoxy, or R; denotes # mono-, di- or tri-phenyl-ethyl- (with the phenyl nucleus optionally substituted by CH 3 or C 1 ) if X denotes phenyleneoxy. The melt of the mixture of dye and I is subsequently cooled rapidly, e.g. by atomising in a cooled chamber From 3-50 parts by wt of I may be present. per part by wt. of dye. From 25-60% by wt. of urea or a urea-polyether adduct, relative to I, may also be present, together with conventional dye process adjuvants. |
