1467198 Cutting apparatus GLORY KOGYO KK 11 July 1975 [19 July 1974 31 Jan 1975] 29174/75 Heading B4B [Also in Division B8] A coin packaging apparatus includes a cutter blade 10 having a V-shaped cutting edge 10a for cutting the wrapper strip as it extends under tension by rollers therepast from its roll 20 to the coin wrapping means. The position of the blade 10 is adjusted in the transverse direction of the wrapper strip so that the apex 10b of the cutting edge 10a is located centrally of the strip in its transverse direction. The adjustment is effected automatically in response to movement of a wrapper width sensing member 23 which abuts the uppermost edge of the roll 20. Movement of member 23 effects rotation of shaft 60 and hence lever 66 moves to cause floating member 77 to slide along column 72 so that the blade apex 10b is suitably located.
