Automatic convergence adjustment for colour monitor display - using sensors detecting convergence at defined horizontal and vertical points within image
摘要
One or more sensors are used for detecting the convergence and/or image geometry at a number of horizontal points and a number of vertical points. The sensor signals are fed to a regulator providing corresponding correction values. The resolution of each image sensor is less than that of the colour monitor display, the latter provided by a projection screen, onto which the displays provided by one or more CRT's are directed. The sensor measurements are obtained along defined horizontal reference lines and vertical reference columns. ADVANTAGE - Allows compensation of aging and thermal drift.
