The plug-in coupling is for two hose or pipe ends (2, 3) for vehicle-hoses for coolants and heating media. A first coupling-piece (5) has lugs (8) fitting into hooks (7) on the second coupling-piece (4). The axially positioned lugs (8) and hooks (7) are spaced equally from the plug-in coupling's (1) longitudinal axis (6). An axially movable locking piece (10) is positioned between two hooks (7a, 7b) which are pressed by it against the lugs (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - The plug-in coupling is compact and joins two hose or pipe ends.
